Re: Pegasus' Ice Barriers
Dunno how well this deck does, but . . .
I run Ice Barriers very often, and I can tell you just by looking at this that this build is inconsistent. The biggest monsters for Ice Barrier are Gantala, Prior, Defender, Strategist, and MAYBE Samurai. Things like Cryomancer are, most of the time, only useful in Wetlands builds. But in standard decks, you would often find yourself wanting something else.
Duality is really good in Ice Barrier, and they also tend to want a lot more protection than you are giving them. I'm talking about D-Pris, Bottomless, Solemn, and so on, since they can't swarm as quickly as we would like.
Your main strategy should be using Strategist to dump Gantala or something you can use, Special Summon Prior and maybe stall for a turn (Or bring Defender back for an easy Gungnir), then proceed to get stuff out.
Bubble Bringer (An almost essential part of Ice Barrier) is great for stalling to get what you need, and it can also net you a couple free Synchro or Xyz (Prior should almost always be in the Grave for this, so you can net yourself a free Gachi).
Other than that, a couple support cards are Penguin Soldier (Preferably at 2 so you can draw it more), and Reese the Ice Mistress (Fine at 1 cuz eff).
I also like siding the WATER Elemental Dragon for extra fun. :O

He gives you a free Special Summon every turn, is a great beater and is a Rank 7 to go with Gungnir, Arcanite, etc. for easy Xyz, while Grunard is very situational and isn't overly helpful, and Raiho is just plain useless. It is definitely the most usable in any Ice Barrier deck, especially one that is supposed to spam.

Re: Pegasus' Ice Barriers
raiho stops them from useing their effects or makes them suffer a discard from them, thats good. grunard allows for an extra summon then and there, so the possibility of shit 2 beaters, thats good. gantala gives you meh at your end phase just so it can die and not be used on your turn ._.

Re: Pegasus' Ice Barriers
Generals are bosses, I really don't see how they can be wasteful if they can S.S. other Ice Barriers that you've discarded through Strategist or that have been destroyed. Plus, in my opinion, any card that can bring back Defender of the Ice Barrier while you have a level 7 monster out there can be godly

Re: Pegasus' Ice Barriers
That is why Ice Barrier monsters like to have a bunch of backrow. They don't have any way of countering stuff themselves, but they can wreck the battlefield if you get them set up.

Re: Pegasus' Ice Barriers
xD they don't need any backrow! they stop everything with their own effects! most useful backrow card is gozen match. I've used the frozen world for awhile and they don't require back row ._.
