Dragonball Series Animated - part 1
Hi guys. I love yugioh and I love Dragonball, thus I tried combining it :)
I love in finding tactics in between the cards that I made myself and of course making these cards that work good with each other is awesome. I make them on yugiohcardmaker and sometimes on yugico cardmaker. I'll be posting loads of these, so don't worry :D
Please tell me what ya think about these, and any ideas can be of great use :p
I'll start with like 10 cards, and if you like them, i'll go further. Up till now I have 190 cards, so loads of stuff and awesomeness to show :D

- Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no Battle Damage from that battle. Place 1 "Transform Counter" (max. 4) on this card each time you use this effect. Remove all "Transform Counters" on this card and return this card to the Deck to Special Summon a "Goku - Super Saiyan" monster from your hand or Deck whose level is equal to or lower than the number of removed "Transform Counters" + 4.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with the effect of a "Goku" monster. This card cannot be targeted by, or destroyed by, the effects of your opponent's Effect Monsters. When this card is destroyed and send to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Goku - Saiyan Hero from Earth" from your hand or Deck.

Activate only when you control a "Goku - Saiyan Hero from Earth". Remove all "Transform Counters" on the field to destroy a number of cards your opponent controls equal to or lower than the number of removed "Transform Counters".

Dat sounds cool. I love dragon ball, dragon ball z, and dragon ball gt. Me and my brother and sister were obsessed with it for the longest time. We owned just about every game out there at the time, a bunch of vhs tapes, my brother had action figures, and my sister would draw all of the characters and we would play with their cut outs as if they were dolls.
Games I've owned and might still have : Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1, Budokai 2, Budokai 3, Budokai Tenkaichi 1, Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Sagas, Final About, Raging Blast 2, Legacy of Goku 1, Legacy of Goku 2, Buu's Fury, and GT Transformation.
I still admire the whole series and am currently to trying finish watching dragon ball :) Before last year there was a LOT I had not seen such as I had not seen any full dragon ball episodes or much of the cell saga, or buu's saga or much of dbgt. Even years later after my family's obsession died down a bit I still love the dragon ball series. It's classic :)

Not sure if you are including Video games but... The 'Ghost Warriors' (Dr. Raichi, Turles, Lord Slug, Frieza, Cooler) were pretty cool. There are others, but those 5 are the main.
Also, should the use of the 7 shadow dragons not make Black Smoke Shenron? Yes he was only shown once in the series.... But he did create them.

I tried making a Babidi card, but I'm in lack of a good picture. I prefer quality over quantity with cards, I'm sure you understand. Dabura will come when Babidi is there (probably they will be related to each other through the "Majin" Archetype).
I haven't done King Piccolo yet, but it's an intriging thought. Ill try making that one soon.
I'm already collecting pctures of the Ghost Warriors like you called them. I have a nice one of Rachi I think. And I have made an entire Frost Demon Archetype already. So those include Frieza and Cooler :p
I have a good image of the black smoke shenron too, but I don't know what card effect to give it yet. So I decided back then not to make it yet. I might bring it out as a support card though.

Fair enough. You could make other forms of Frieza and Cooler as the Ghost warriors to fit in with them, that is your call though. Babidi is hard to find a picture for... I'll look around and let yea know.

When you Special summon the shadow dragons, the effect is worded wrong. Why would you want to summon a 3000 ATK beat stick to your opponents field and have it's effect work against you? Just saying. Other than that, everything looks nice. keep up the goodwork.

They aren't suppose to work for the user.... If you watch the show and stuff the dragons are evil entities summoned by over use of the dragon balls. You get positive effects, with the negative eff of your opponent gaining the shadow dragons.

Exactly worded by Kzoki. The whole point of them was to get powerfull effects from the Dragonballs, but because you use them, you basically get the negative side effects too. Instead of having to discard or anything (which would be the boring same effect as a lot of costs), I decided to make it so that you have to special summon a powerfull monster to your opponent's side of the field.
If you look closely, some of the shadow dragons will even nullify the effects of the dragonballs you use, if you can't get rid of them :p

Will that's the point i'm trying to make. I watched DBZ,Kai, Gt, And the original DB. I know what the shadow dragons are thank you very much. I'm just saying the effect is worded wrong. So you get a benefit effect with a negative effect. understandable. But when they negate others on the field and can inflict damage to you? good luck getting rid of them.

Then it isn't worded wrong. When they are on the oposite side of the field, the effects have to be seen from your opponent's view.
Example, when you use the 4-star ball, you summon nuova to your opponent's side of the field. Then your opponent can burn you for 1000 damage each turn. It's worded perfectly normal.
Also the fact they destroy all non-shadow dragons is for your opponent. The basic thought is that the opponent can't summon other monsters to xyz or synchro with them ...
The fact you are giving them a powerfull monster is perfect for the series, while the wording is perfectly ok.

Nah, you give them to your opponent, so it's a downside for yourself. But it's only givable to them when you use a dragonball, which has great benefits. The 4-star gives you 3000 extra LP. So it's always great for that extra push :)
Besides, in today's game of yugioh, almost no1 plays things that do effect damage, just because it's not good enough.
Look at it as another version of Lava Golem. You give them a big beater, and it does damage (only to the other person).

KM888, up for a custom card duel at some point? All cards have to be balanced or I won't add them in. If we find out they are unbalanced well using them we can help each other balance them out. Using YVD I will put any and all custom cards you want into the programming with pictures and we can duel. I will need you to send me the cards you want to use and pictures if you wish to do this. I may add your DBZ cards as you post them just for fun, no pictures though unless you send me them.

Yea it would be awesome. I think I would go for my Frost Demon Archetype OR my "Goten / Trunks" Archetype. Those are going to be the best i think :p

Nah man, I'm good. It's super hard working with renders, because choosing the background is a real problem then. I rather pick my own pictures ^_^

For anyone who doesn't know how I get to these concepts, I really suggest reading Dragonball Multiverse. I'm a real Dragonball fan, and I have to say that I love that concept like no other :)

Yea, the new ones are good. Only complaint I have is on an earlier one, Vegito - Super Saiyan 4. He is too OP'd. No matter how hard they are too get out if they cannot be destroyed or removed you can't get rid of them, making them too powerful.
