So, yeah, I just joined, like a lot of people here, it seems. I got invited by yburrrr after playing him in a DN yourney, so thanks to him, because the place is actually set up, unlike some other scrub sites out there.
Anyways. I really have no clue what to put here. I guess I'll share my tale. I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! when I around 6. This was 2002, where drawing a normal monster with 1600 attack was a godsend wtfawesomebomb. The game was simple, and me and all of my childhood friends played with our duel disks, using our childish minds to think up ways to make the holograms real. It was fun, and I was making basic theme decks by the time I was 8.
Unfortunately, I moved. And nobody in my new town gives two fucks about the game. This hasn't changed. The game got complicated, as I was forcibly waned off of it through a combo of no opponents and a nasty divorce between my parents. Only a couple of months ago did I re-enter the dueling world. I was bored one day, and downloaded DeSMuMe, a DS emulator, and to go with it, Yu-Gi-Oh! WC 2009. I was hooked. There was so much flexibility now, it wasn't just about who had the strongest cards, it was about who knew how to use them. It had become the ultimate mental chess battle I always knew it could become.
So then, the only question was, what deck do I run? Well, i run a multitude of things, including Scraps, Batteries, and to pay homage to my favorite NFL team, Watts. Go Texans.
